Mitt addresses the NAACP

Mitt gets booed by a bunch of non-white middle class Americans. We can't imagine why.

Happened on 07/11/2012

Mitt had the gall — or balls — to address the NAACP today. Mitt doesn't exactly enjoy a well-respected reputation in the African-American community. Perhaps this is due to the Mormon religion's historical stance on blacks, but we suspect it has more to do with Mitt's general awkwardness toward people who didn't vote for him.

The room let him know how it felt. Mitt was reportedly booed or scoffed at multiple times during the address — the audience reaction became the story more than the speech itself.

From the remarks he did deliver, the campaign highlighted his claims about making things better for the African-American community, along with the audience response that met them.

Whatever else happened in that room on 07/11/2012, the sound of the crowd told its own story about how warmly the speech was received.

The full archive of his most quotable moments lives in mitticisms™, and the images mocking him live in the photoshops gallery.

Choosing a honeymoon cruise involves weighing the romance of sea travel against practical realities that couples rarely discuss before booking. Many travelers are drawn by the convenience of a single booking that bundles accommodations, meals, and excursions, along with the chance to visit multiple ports without the friction of constant packing and unpacking. On the other hand, the pace of a ship can be limiting, and travelers soon discover that time at sea does not always translate into genuine connection when entertainment schedules and social obligations compete for attention.

Pros and cons ultimately depend on the kind of couple, the destination, and the expectations each person brings to the journey. Some couples find that a cruise offers a comfortable, low-stress beginning to married life, with plenty of space to relax, eat well, and share experiences that become part of a longer story. Others prefer the freedom of independent travel, where every hour can be shaped spontaneously. Researching ahead, comparing options carefully, and talking openly about preferences tends to make the difference between a memorable voyage and a disappointing one.
